Ciao Anonimo, grazie per il tuo commento. Se hai un blog di prego di seguire le istruzioni che ci sono sul post della sfida, altrimenti torna pure qua a scrivere i titoli che leggerai di volta in volta. Buon divertimento! :)
I've read varied female authors and met my goal! From Mary Shelley to Patricia Briggs, to JK Rowling and Gabrielle Zevin. I did read Mr. Kiss and Tell which is co-written with a man, by Jennifer Graham.
Just shared a link with my reviews of: A Beautiful Mess Photo Idea Book by Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman. A Beautiful Mess Happy Handmade Home by Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall by Anne Brontë. Indoor Kitchen Gardening by Elizabeth Millard and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn
I just posted the link to my first review for this Women Challenge - as luck would have it, it's "Arturo's Island" by Elsa Morante, the same book that Monica Spiccione reviewed (#76) though her review is in Italian, mine in English.
Just linked up my February book reviews! I read Orange Is the New Black Presents: The Cookbook by Jenji Kohan, Tara Herrmann, Hartley Voss, Alex Regnery; Dancing with Mr. Darcy: Stories Inspired by Jane Austen and Chawton House introductions by Sarah Waters and Elizabeth Hopkinson; Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen; Get in Trouble: Stories by Kelly Link and Beloved: a novel by Toni Morrison.
My review # 2 for the challenge: The Good Terrorist by Doris Lessing. Unfortunately, current events have made the topic more up-to-date than I could have guessed when I scheduled it weeks ago.
In memoriam of the victims of the terrorist attacks in Paris, Copenhagen and Tunis.
I just posted the link to my review of a novel by an Indian author... to leave Europe for a change ;-). It has a fscinating historical background, but mainly it's a character study. Fascinating and full of typical Indian atmosphere. Enjoy it!
Ecco qui oggi Jo Baker con Longbourn House, consigliato a chi ama le atmosfere da brughiera e ha voglia di immedesimarsi nella prospettiva di chi lavorava per i Bennet.
Here I am with another review of a classic by a woman writer who is little known outside her region although her work is in the Scandinavian literary canon: Alberta and Jacob by Norwegian writer Cora Sandel. Definitely worth reading!
I'm glad I finally found where to link up for the womens challenge, I have been reading all along but have not been able to add them to the link, I recently read Mrs Lincoln's Dressmarker which is a wonderful book woven around a beauftiful friendship as well as History
I have completed the challenge at the level Wonder Woman. I don´t have all the reviews because sometimes I don't have enough time, but I'm very happy with this challenge ^^
Hello! I just linked a review to my other book blog - but the complete title was too long. The book is Ancient Guardians. The Hawaiian Legend of Sharktooth and Hawkeye by Kanani Hurley. An interesting and captivating debut novel - fantasy thriller - of a new author, but probably more suitable for teenagers and young adults than women in their forties like me ;-).
Here are my 101 women here! I believe we are counting all books by these women and not sticking to one individual woman. I hope next year's levels are much higher, like I've been asking you every time. LOL! Please watch my blog for my new groups. Happy new year 2016 from Canada! Carolyn. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/2015/02/05/women-diversity-of-literature/
Vorrei partecipare al livello 2. Le mie preferite: DORIS LESSING, ALICE MUNRO, BANANA YOSHIMOTO

RispondiEliminaHere's my review of a classical Swiss novella set in Berlin of the 1933. A bit melancolic, but enjoyable.
