I love my libraries (yes, I'm sooo lucky, I have to great libraries near my home), and today I borrowed a lot of new books!
Amo le biblioteche (sì, sono così fortunata, ne ho ben 2 vicino a casa), e oggi ho preso in prestito molti nuovi libri!
Here are my new treasures!
Ecco i miei nuovi tesori!
From the top you can find:
Dall'alto potete trovare:
- Arthur Conan Doyle "The adventures of Sherlock Holmes" that I have to read for "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Book Challenge". Actually I only need the short story "The final problem" that should be in this book but, unfortunately, there isn't :(
- Cees Nooteboom "Roads to Santiago". This Dutch author (he has been mentioned as a candidate for the Nobel Prize in literature) was chosen by my reading group for our next meeting, and I decided for this title because it was the only one available at the Library ^_^
- Jules Verne "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". I have to read this classical for "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Book Challenge" and for the "Book2Movie Challenge".
- Simonetta Agnello Hornby "The Marquise". The author is Italian by birth and English by adoption, and she works as a lawyer in London. I have to read this book because it was chosen by a new reading group I would like to attend :)
And you? Do you love your local Library as I do? :)
E voi? Amate la vostra biblioteca quanto me? :)
